Perceptions of Tele-orthodontics Application during the COVID-19 Pandemic among University of North Sumatra Dental Student

Orthodontics is a dentistry specialty that addresses the diagnosis, prevention, management, and correction of mal-positioned teeth jaws, misaligned bite patterns which treatment usually takes long time. Restrictions on direct dental oral health services during COVID-19 pandemic have encouraged use online via tele-orthodontics over past few years. This study aimed to investigate perceptions among students. subjects from various sources information, not only relying knowledge in school. A total 106 students who their fourth year participated this cross-sectional descriptive survey. Data were collected using validated self-reported questionnaire measure knowledge, beliefs, attitudes toward tele-orthodontics.
